This bird wouldn't be only for magic tricks, would it? They can live a long time and need lots of love and attention, especially if you want them to be and stay friendly..
Animals should not be used for magic tricks, especially by amatuer magicians. The chances of a bird being injured at a child's birthday party or some other event you are booked to entertain is very high. It is also very stressful on the birds.
